Tears of the Kingdom: 10 Paraglider Fabrics I Still Regret Unlocking in 2026
In 2026, I still boot up The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom when I want to lose an evening to Hyrule. And every time I glide off a sky island, I glance at my paraglider fabric and think about the rewards that were absolutely not worth the grind. Listen, I get it: collecting fabrics is fun. But some of these unlock methods are so tedious that I wish I could return them for a few rupees and a sincere apology.

There are over 50 paraglider fabrics in TOTK, and excluding the Zelda Amiibo ones, most demand a side quest, a photo, a race, or a full-blown collection marathon. Some are gorgeous. Some are fine. And some make me wonder why I spent hours chasing them. Even after all this time, no patch has made these rewards sweeter. Here are the ones I would skip if I could go back.
| Rank | Fabric | The Grind | My Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | Monster-Control-Crew | Several enemy-clearing side quests | Boring patchwork, wasted time |
| 9 | Gerudo | Beat a timed desert race record | Too much sweat for a so-so design |
| 8 | Stalnox | Snap a picture of a Stalnox | Basic charcoal snooze |
| 7 | Lynel | Photograph a deadly Lynel | Risky photo, dull reward |
| 6 | Lucky Clover Gazette | Complete two Gazette quests | Newspaper collage, bland |
| 5 | Zonai Survey Team | Photograph every sky stone tablet | Tedious, better done passively |
| 4 | Hudson Construction | Build a house, buy it, etc. | An ad for President Hudson |
| 3 | Yiga | Unlock all Yiga armor | Beautiful design, wrong team |
| 2 | Koltin's | Collect over 100 Bubbul Gems | Stunning but brutal |
| 1 | Robbie's | Complete the entire Hyrule Compendium | The worst reward in the game |
10. Monster-Control-Crew Fabric

The Monster-Control-Crew fabric is not hard to get, but it is annoying. I had to complete multiple side quests where Link clears out enemies in specific areas. It is not difficult combat, but it is time-consuming, and the reward is a basic Zelda design on patchwork cloth. It is fine, I guess, but there are other fabrics with similar elements that look far better. Trust me, this one belongs in the back of the closet.
9. Gerudo Fabric

The Gerudo Fabric looks decent, and the Gerudo are important in Tears of the Kingdom. But the unlock method is ridiculous. Link has to complete the Desert Race in the Gerudo region and break a specified record. After all that sand, heat, and retries, the fabric just does not feel special. I would rather use a better Gerudo-themed option, and I bet most players feel the same.
8. Stalnox Fabric

The Stalnox Fabric is easy to get: just snap a picture of one Stalnox with the Purah Pad. But easy does not mean good. It is mostly charcoal with a slightly off-white Stalnox design in one corner. The Stalnox is a fascinating enemy with great monster parts, but its design is not interesting enough to carry a paraglider fabric. This one is a disappointment.
7. Lynel Fabric

The Lynel Fabric also comes from a Purah Pad photo, but the Lynel is one of the deadliest enemies in the wild. Getting a clean picture without provoking it is a pain. And the design? Two Lynels posed on cloth. It is not very imaginative. If I want a creature fabric, I would much rather chase the Gleeok one.
6. Lucky Clover Gazette Fabric

The Lucky Clover Gazette fabric is another visually bland reward. It layers newspaper-style fabrics over each other, which is not horrible, but it is forgettable compared to the vibrant options in TOTK. Unlocking it means completing two Lucky Clover Gazette quests at stables around Hyrule. Players often do those anyway for the Froggy Armor, and honestly, that armor feels like the real reward. The fabric feels like a coupon for a free pencil.
5. Zonai Survey Team Fabric

The Zonai Survey Team fabric is actually an okay design. It has a compass surrounded by smaller details, and it might catch your eye. But the method is troublesome: find each ancient stone tablet in the Sky Islands and photograph it with the Purah Pad so it can be deciphered. Every part of that quest is tedious. It is better done passively, if at all. Do not rush this one unless you truly love the look.
4. Hudson Construction Fabric

The Hudson Construction Fabric requires a serious amount of work and money. Link has to reach Tarrey Town, meet President Hudson and his wife, help with their daughter, unlock the option to build a house, and then buy that house. Only then does the fabric show up. After all that, the reward is basically an advertisement for President Hudson. No thanks. I did it once, and I felt like I had paid to wear a billboard.
3. Yiga Fabric

The Yiga Fabric is tricky because the design is genuinely beautiful and intricate. If it showed almost anything else, it might be a top contender. But the Yiga are one of Link's weirdest enemy groups, and not many players are eager to represent them. To get it, you also need to unlock all pieces of the Yiga armor. That armor does not look great and only provides stealth, which you can get from meals or better armor sets. So the fabric is pretty, but the effort is ugly.
2. Koltin's Fabric

Koltin's paraglider fabric is stunning. I will give it that. But it is only unlocked by collecting all the Bubbul Gems in TOTK, and there are over 100 of them. Collecting them is worthwhile for Koltin's armor and other goods, but after you get the armor, the paraglider fabric feels like a letdown. That is several hours of cave crawling and hunting. Unless you are absolutely sure you will use it as your main fabric, it is not worth the trouble.
1. Robbie's Fabric

Robbie's paraglider fabric is, by far, the most disappointing waste of time in Tears of the Kingdom. The design is just a couple of small item depictions over a golden background. It is not colorful, detailed, or imaginative. It honestly looks like a default fabric, not the reward for completing the entire Hyrule Compendium. That task requires photographing almost everything in the game, which is nearly as tedious as collecting all the Korok seeds. For that much work, the reward is pathetic. I am not kidding: if you are considering this one in 2026, save your hours and glide with something you actually love.
At the end of the day, TOTK is a game about freedom, and paraglider fabrics are supposed to be fun cosmetics. But when the unlock method is a second job and the design is a shrug, I have to draw the line. These ten fabrics are the ones I wish I had skipped. If you are still playing in 2026, learn from my mistakes, pick a fabric that makes you smile, and spend your time on the adventures that actually matter.
